my best girl is one month old today. i cannot believe how fast time flew. this morning we were up at 5:30 about the time she was born a month ago and i just laid there and stared at her and tried to remember every detail. she's growing up too fast already but is still the sweetest baby around. i feel beyond words lucky to have her here healthy and happy (not so happy right now, i'm typing one handed and bouncing her in the other). i think i kiss her a million times a day.
things i love about this picture: her peeling skin on her hands. she always has to have her hands right up against her face. her red lips from sucking so hard on her binki (i pulled it out so i could have a binki-less photo). and how i feel bad for her because this mom does not know how to be a girl mom, hence the pink ribbon in her hair, i have no idea what i'm doing but i didn't want her to look so much like her brother in her photos so i thought i'd add a girly touch.
those bright eyes break my heart, she is so sweet. (i know her face is out of focus but i loved the photo anyway)
